Mountain biking
What better way is there to enjoy the charm of Val di Fassa's untarnished natural environment than riding your mountain bike along the numerous paths and tracks which allow you to discover places of incomparable beauty? Perhaps this is the secret of success behind a sport that is becoming more and more popular and widespread. It allows you to leave behind, at least for one magic moment, the noise and stress of traffic and to venture out on daring rides, up inaccessible climbs and down breathtaking descents, completely immersed in a unique, natural environment: fields, woods, streams which glide gently down towards the river Avisio, and surrounded only by the silence and intense scent of nature.

BELVEDERE-CANAZEI: FREERIDE - DH: Double-U, Electric Line, 4X
There are numerous mountain bike routes throughout the whole of the Val di Fassa and those who want to participate in the sport are spoilt for choice. You can choose particularly easy and accessible routes or more arduous and challenging ones which put you and your body to the test. Enthusiasts of this sport will certainly know of the new Val di Fassa Bike, the international mountain bike race, whose route runs entirely round the peaks and forests of Moena. They won't miss the chance to tackle this exclusive route at least once.
Sellaronda Mountainbike:a panoramic tour to savour
In the past, the imposing Sella massif represented an invincible target for mountain bike lovers. Accompanied by a guide and with the aid of lifts to reach the top of the four Dolomite passes - Sella, Pordoi, Campolongo and Gardena - it is now possible, in just one day, to go around the Sella groupby mountain bike (clockwise or anti-clockwise).You can start from one of the villages situated around the Sella group like Selva Gardena, Corvara, Arabba, Canazei or Campitello di Fassa. The descents are performed mainly on single trails and only partly follow the road. It's an unforgettable tour with a breathtaking view.
Clockwise (open from July 10 to September 12)the trail around the Sella massif has a length of about 58 km with a difference in altitude of 3.400 metres. Anti-clockwise (open from June 27 to September 12) the length of the trail is of about 53 km with a difference in altitude of 3.700 metres.
The Sellaronda Mountain Bike can be managed only if accompanied by a MTB guide and for those owning the Bikepass Sellaronda (extra charge) for the use of the lifts.
